Victoria Max-Theurer and Stefan Lehfellner have now welcomed a new addition to their family—a two-legged one, in addition to their four-legged friend. Congratulations!
Photo: courtesy of the family It’s a boy, and his name is Theodor. According to reports from Austrian media outlets, the baby and his parents are doing well. The family of three is now at home at Achleiten Castle.
In March, Victoria Max-Theurer announced her pregnancy and made it clear early on that this year’s World Championships in Aachen were out of the question for her. Her partner of 10 years, Stefan Lehfellner, had introduced her horse Topas in the meantime, but ultimately did not compete in Aachen either. For Vici Max-Theurer, it would have been her fourth World Championship. The 40-year-old had already competed at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen, riding Falcao at the time.
She herself hasn’t competed in a tournament for almost a year. But her promising young horse, Back for Good, is currently being ridden by Isabell Werth, who could win the Louisdor Prize qualifier with him last weekend at the Anakenenhof. Perhaps the trip to the Festhalle in Frankfurt will be Theodor’s first long journey. We wish the young family all the best!
