The European Championships for Young Riders and U25 Dressage Riders are taking place this weekend in Pilisjaszfalu, Hungary.
Germany is the defending champion in both the Young Riders and U25 categories. This year, the following pairs will be competing for medals:
U25
- Lucie-Anouk Baumgürtel with First Vienna
- Pia-Carlotta Gagel on Riccio
- Rose Oatley with “Alive and Kicking”
- Katharina Schuster with Qence L
U21
- Lana-Pinou Tree Belt with Escalla FH OLD (Defending Champion)
- Nele Klaus with Bonfire
- Julie Sofie Schmitz-Heinen with Attractive (last year’s junior champion)
- Marie Sohler with Askehaven’s Beau Sancy (2024 European Junior Champion)
The competition kicks off on Wednesday at 8 a.m., when the young riders tackle Part I of their team event. Starting at 2 p.m., the first half of the U25 riders will compete in the Intermédiaire II.
