From June 18th to 21st, the CCI4*-S/CCI5*-L event in Luhmühlen will bring some of the best eventers in the world to the Heath.

Since 1958, Luhmühlen in the Westergellersen Heath has been synonymous with great eventing sport. What once began as a national show has been attracting the best riders from all over the world to Lower Saxony since 1975. But it has always been an important milestone on the way to the next championships – this year the WEG in Aachen.

This year, the defending champions Ros Canter (GBR) and Julia Krajewski will be competing in both competitions, the DM at four-star level and the CCI5*-L, with the horses that carried them to victory last year. In the case of the British rider Ros Canter, this is Izilot DHI.

Julia Krajewski has only used her Holsteiner Nickel in a very measured and targeted manner since his magnificent performance at the Olympic Games in Paris, including deliberately foregoing the European Championships. The entire focus is on the WEG in Aachen. And she wants to defend her title with him in Luhmühlen. After all, Luhmühlen is one of her favorite tournaments.

The couple Jonelle and Tim Price from New Zealand will be riding, as will Boyd Martin from the USA. They are aiming for the five-star class. Two German riders, for whom it will be their debut in the top class of bush riding, also want to compete here: Katharina Meyer and Heike Jahnke.
