Catalog Number 1, Bontasia by Bonjour ADVERTISEMENT
Top-class horses are not born in the auction ring. Their success stories begin years earlier—with carefully planned matings, proven bloodlines, and an eye for exceptional talent. On Saturday, December 12, 2026, the 47th Performance Sales International (P.S.I.) Auction in Ankum will present 52 top-class young horses—26 dressage horses and 26 show jumpers. They all embody a standard that has defined the P.S.I. brand for more than four decades: producing the champions of tomorrow. The festive kickoff will be the traditional P.S.I. Gala on Friday, December 11.
The P.S.I. 2026 collection reflects the breeding philosophy of founders Paul Schockemöhle and Ullrich Kasselmann. Their unwavering commitment to quality and performance has made P.S.I. one of the most renowned names in the international sport horse trade. The successes speak for themselves: Former P.S.I. auction horses have been proving their abilities at the highest competitive level for decades. At the 2026 FEI World Championships in Aachen, this success story was once again impressively continued.
Where tomorrow’s champions get their start
What sets P.S.I. apart is its in-depth knowledge of every single horse in the auction. When a promising young horse enters the auction ring in Ankum, Schockemöhle and Kasselmann have long been familiar with its development, strengths, and potential.
Over the course of decades, Lewitz Stud and Osthoff Stud have established a breeding program that consistently produces successful sport horses. Proven dam lines are selectively mated with stallions whose breeding performance is not based solely on a promising pedigree, but has already been confirmed by successful offspring in international competition.
The goal is clear: healthy, rideable horses with the talent, temperament, and athletic ability needed for a successful career in elite competition. From breeding and rearing to professional training, every step is guided by this standard. The 2026 Collection consistently carries on this philosophy and offers buyers carefully selected young horses backed by the experience, expertise, and international track record of two of the sport’s most influential figures in the equestrian world.
Dressage: Top-Notch Pedigrees with Grand Prix Potential
The Dressage Collection brings together some of the most sought-after bloodlines in modern dressage horse breeding. With sires such as Fürst Zonik, Fürst Jazz, Dynamic Dream, and Total Hope OLD, the selection is first-rate.
Particularly significant are the close family ties to already successful sport horses. Among the 26 young dressage-oriented horses are close blood relatives of Christoph Koschel’s Grand Prix star Destare and Bundeschampion Saniola. Other talented prospects come from the dam lines of Marieke van der Putten’s Forza RS2 and Yara Reichert’s up-and-coming Grand Prix horse, Force Majeure. A full brother to the premium stallion Grey Tonic rounds out this top-class selection, which impresses with its quality, powerful movement, and athletic potential.
Show Jumping: Championship Bloodlines and Exceptional Talent

The lot of 26 young show jumpers is no less impressive. Offspring of the late Chacoon Blue, by Diaron OLD and his son Diablue PS, as well as the time-tested Conthargos, underscore the quality of the breeding program.
The show jumping collection also stands out for its close genetic ties to internationally successful sport horses. These include a half-brother to Chacco Volo—who won team bronze at the 2026 FEI World Championships under Adrian Whiteway—as well as a licensed stallion out of a half-sister to Cian O’Connor’s World Championship horse, Chatolinue PS. Also included are a half-sister to O’Connor’s Grand Prix horse Canbella Blue PS and an impressive son of the show jumping mare Chacstara, who has enjoyed success at the five-star level.
These young talents exemplify the strength of the P.S.I. breeding program, which combines ability, technique, and athleticism with the demands of international show jumping.
