Photo: sportfotos-lafrentz.de Casa Blue PS was so unfortunate in the jump-off for the Grand Prix that she was suddenly unable to perform and was immediately taken to the veterinary clinic in Telgte. The eleven-year-old OS mare was operated on here on Monday . She survived the operation well, as Katrin Eckermann confirmed the next day in an interview with the editorial team of Rheinlands Reiter + Pferde. Eckermann is not allowed to say exactly what is wrong with the mare because Casa Blue does not belong to her, but the Casallco daughter is not in any danger to her life.
Eckermann and Casa Blue PS have been a team for one and a half years. The Italian Emanuele Camilli brought the bay horse, who was bred at Lewitz Stud, into the sport. Eckermann has been presenting her since August 2024. At that time, she changed hands to Pegase Equestrian BV, which is backed by Iron Dames boss Deborah Mayer. Accordingly, the full name is also Iron Dames Casa Blue PS.
