Grand Slam cracker meets Chacco Blue
The top prize winner of the collection was a filly by United Touch: United Whizz Kid Z, born in March, out of a Chacco Blue dam, bred by the Veldhuis, Boeve and Noordman breeding community. The sire, European Champion United Touch, won the Grand Prix of Aachen last weekend under Richard Vogel. The foal comes from the direct female line of Whizz Kid by Carthago-Grannus. The dam comes from Gestüt Lewitz and has various internationally successful siblings, including Harry Charles’ Casquo Blue – female genetics from this line are sought after internationally. The knockdown was made at 56,000 euros. “The top foal will remain with a regular customer in the country,” said auctioneer Rowold.

Cream Lover Z, a daughter of Comme Il Faut – sire of Christian Kukuk’s individual Olympic champion Checker – took second place. The foal was bred by B2B Horses from the Netherlands and changed hands for 49,000 euros. Number three in the price structure went to the colorful pinto filly One of a Kind by Ogano Sitte-Emerald for 42,000 euros.
In addition to local buyers, interested parties from Qatar and South Africa also joined in. “The buyers on site and all over the world honored the quality of the foals,” summed up a highly satisfied auctioneer Rowold.
