Scott Brash May Have Been Involved in a Fatal Car Accident

Several British media outlets are reporting that British show jumper Scott Brash is said to have been involved in an accident in which a 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed in Spain.

According to reports, the accident occurred near Oliva. The Daily Mail was the first to report that an accident had taken place last Thursday at 7:45 p.m. A motorcyclist was struck by an Audi Q3 and killed in the accident.


Scott Brash is said to have been driving the car


Olympic team champion Scott Brash and Sira Martinez, the daughter of Paris Saint-Germain soccer team manager Luis Enrique, are said to have been in the car. The 26-year-old was reportedly sitting in the passenger seat. Scott Brash is said to have been driving the car involved in the accident. While the motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident, Brash and Martinez were unharmed.


The Daily Mail quotes an official Spanish source. “The driver is under investigation on suspicion of negligent homicide. He apparently made an illegal U-turn. A report on the incident has been filed with a local court so that it can summon him for questioning.”


It also states that the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident was subjected to drug and alcohol tests at the scene.
