From July 23 to 26, Hickstead will host its annual five-star Nations Cup tournament. It used to be part of the FEI Series. As part of the format and name change to the League of Nations, Hickstead was sacrificed along with other classics on the European tournament calendar. However, this in no way detracts from the tournament’s appeal and popularity.

The following players from Germany have been named for the Five-Star Tour:

• Hansi Dreher with Elysium, Cous Cous, and Harley de la Cense


• Marcus Ehning with Askala NRW, Baloubets Rose Dree Boeken, and Priam du Rose


• Marie Ligges with Ruby Go L and Ballerina NRW


• Philipp Weishaupt with Chaquitos PS, Callao L, and Lady Concern du Rezidal.
