In addition to the Oldenburg State Championships, Höven also hosted the Elite Mare Show organized by the Oldenburg Association and the Oldenburg-International 2026 Show Jumping Breeding Association. In dressage, Bonds was the standout stallion, while in show jumping, a daughter of Heartbeat came out on top.

The elegant Rapsody K was awarded the title of Champion Mare by the Oldenburg-International (OS) Show Jumping Breeders’ Association. The four-year-old, bred by Hermann Kuck, is by Heartbeat uzm. Her dam, Rilana by Colestus-Dinard L, was named Reserve Champion Mare in 2016. Her granddam is the Elite and State Premium mare Rominarda, who has six recorded offspring that have competed successfully up to Class M in show jumping.

The judging panel ranked Diacarla by Diathletico-Concetto (breeder: Nils zur Lage) in second place. Her granddam, Aldata, produced two internationally successful show jumpers. The four-year-old Scalina by Casallco-Stalypso (breeder: Madlen Käter-Siemer) was awarded the 1c premium.

My name is Bonds, Oldenburg Bonds

Bonds, the former Oldenburg champion stallion—who is also the sire of the state champion selected at the same time in Baden-Württemberg—dominated the show. Four of his daughters had made it to Höven for the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show. And he also sired the champion mare.

The gray mare Benaira MB was named the winning mare by the Oldenburg Horse Breeders’ Association (OL), which focuses on dressage-oriented mares. The Bonds daughter was born to Maria-Antonia Burczyk. Her dam, Fräulein Smilla by Fürstenball-Sir Donnerhall, traces back to the Hanoverian line of Kanonenfutter. This family includes, among others, the licensed 2014 World Reserve Champion for six-year-old dressage horses, Del Magico by Dimaggio. The mare trotted with great expression in her forelegs.

Bonds, Part Two

A Magic Moment HJN was ranked second. The four-year-old (breeders: Theo and Sabrina Vagepohl) is also a daughter of Bonds. Her dam, Altana by Don Schufro-Sevillano xx, has a full sister that has placed in Grand Prix competitions.

The currently very successful Viva Gold is the sire of Heideglück J, who placed third. This mare was also four years old at the time. Her dam is the elite mare Heiderose by San Amour I-De Niro (breeder: Vera Jürgens). She is also the dam of the 2019 Oldenburg Champion Mare, Heideromanze by For Romance I. Several Brillantring mares have emerged from this family in recent years. This widely branched Heide line has been producing Grand Prix horses for decades.
