Photo: Archive sportfotos-lafrentz.de As winner of the 2021 Nuremberg Burg Pokal and finalist in the 2023 Louisdor Prize, the Sezuan full sister Straight Horse Ascenzione (Zoni) was one of the great hopes in the stable of former World Cup winner and team World and European Champion Helen Langehanenberg. But after finishing sixth in the Louisdor Final, the elegant dark bay ballerina went quiet for two years.
It was only at the beginning of this year that she returned to action in Hagen, first with an eighth place in the Grand Prix and then with second place in the Special. This was followed by another appearance in Ankum, where they won the Grand Prix and Special with 71.167 and 73.595 percent respectively.
With their successes behind them, they ventured onto the international stage for the first time today in Stadl Paura. And they were successful too – with 69.50 percent they left the competition in the three-star tour behind them.
Second place went to the Swiss U25 rider Tallulah Lynn Nater on the Hanoverian stallion Flynn FRH, who represented the Belgian flag at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris with Flore de Winne. Her score was 68.413 percent.
In third place was Langehanenberg with her second iron in the fire, the state stud stallion Zoom by Zack (67.457). Hot on their heels were Lisa Müller and the eleven-year-old Dante Weltino daughter Raffinesse (67.348), followed by Franz Trischberger with the Holsteiner Lorentin son Liverpool (66.913).
Four-star Grand Prix for Müller
In addition to Raffinesse, Lisa Müller had brought another Dante Weltino offspring with her to Austria, the highly talented Dantiamo. With him, she won the Grand Prix of the four-star tour with 69.826 percent for Diana Porsche, who now competes for Hungary, in the saddle on Dahoud (69.631). Third place went to an Austrian duo, Timna Valenta-Zach and Farant (68.956).
Lara Reichert rode the Westphalian stallion Valverde to fifth place with 67.761 percent. Helen Langehanenberg also had a horse for the CDI4* tour with the Tamsey daughter Daniela. Result: seventh place with 67.587 percent.
