The 17-year-old made his debut in the international small tour a year ago and also competed in Europe in the summer, riding in Brno (CZE), Deauville (FRA) and Hagen. Here he already presented horses – with results of up to 69 percent in Intermédiaire I – that were previously owned by Hof Kasselmann: the Westphalian Rockwell son Ray Dance and the 16-year-old Mecklenburg Shakespeare by Sancisco. Both horses now belong to Xiao Weilin – as does Fashion Prinz OLD.
About Fashion Prinz
With Fashion Prinz, Zhanzhao Gu has a horse under the saddle that has already collected many successes at a young age. The Fürst Romancier-Sarkozy son was bred at Lewitz Stud. His half-brother Founder by Foundation, who was also licensed but then laid, once competed in the international junior tour with Lana-Pinou Baumgürtel.
Fashion Prinz’s show career began at the age of four with victory at the Oldenburg State Championships and fourth place at the Bundeschampionat. As a five-year-old, he was again State Champion and then took bronze at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Frederic Wandres presented the mighty dark chestnut on both occasions.
As a six-year-old, it was Annika Feldhaus who rode the stallion to his third triumph in Rastede. They qualified for the Bundeschampionat, finishing second in the small final and 17th in the final itself. Most recently, the Danish Kasselmann student Valentin Munkedal presented Fashion Prinz in advanced (S) level. The stallion’s last show was last July in Greven, where he took third place in an advanced (S*) level test with 70.120 percent.
