Three victories for Kendra Claricia Brinkop in Vejer de la Frontera

All good things come in threes for Kendra Claricia Brinkop on the Pre-Sunshine Tour

It doesn't always have to be Wellington. If you suffer from cabin fever, you can also enjoy the first rays of sunshine in Andalusia on the "Andalucía Pre-Sunshine Tour". Spain certainly seems to inspire Kendra Claricia Brinkop and her horses.

Two days, four victories so far for the Stephen Stables rider at the Andalucía Pre-Sunshine Tour. The best success was the victory in the 1.45 meter time trial of the CSI2* tour with the eight-year-old Sniper des Lilas Blancs. The pair were the only pair to complete the course in under 70 seconds and without any faults to boot. This is not a surprise. Since Brinkop took over the Ogano Sitte great-grandson by Hamilton du Chapitre in 2024, the pair have finished in the top three in no fewer than 27 jumping competitions, winning up to four in a row. And they haven’t competed in many more. What a record!

Today, more experienced horses were also left behind, such as Emilio Bicocchi’s (ITA) nine-year-old Emerald daughter Hemerald d’Argonne and the ten-year-old Irish rider Lucky Junior with Jack Ryan, who finished second and third.

Three more Brinkop victories

As if the above success wasn’t enough, Brinkop also secured the other advanced (S) level jumping competition in the 2* tour over 1.40 meters. Here she rode the ten-year-old Eau de Vie Jeleena by Elvis ter Putte in 24.85 seconds in the top time over the second half of the two-phase jumping competition. Brinkop also has top placings in a row with this mare, trained by stable colleague and fellow Schleswig-Holstein rider Frederike Staack.

Last but not least, there was no way around To Me-K Van Kattenheye – and for the second time, as Brinkop had already won the test for the seven-year-olds with her yesterday. And that is no coincidence either. As a six-year-old, Brinkop and the Van Gogh daughter had already won five of nine jumping competitions.
