France's longlists for the WEG in Aachen in dressage, show jumping and eventing

Who will represent France at the WEG in Aachen? Longlists published

France has announced the longlists of potential participants at the WEG in Aachen. Here are the candidates in dressage, show jumping and eventing.

From August 11th to 23rd, the equestrian world will be looking to Aachen. The 2026 WEG is calling and the best of the best are coming to the Soers. France has already announced who can hope for a starting place. Here are the longlists for show jumping, eventing and dressage.


Jumping



  • Simon Delestre with Gatsby du Tillard, Golden Boy DK or Amelusina R > Delestre won Olympic team bronze with the latter in Paris in 2024

  • Marc Dilasser with Arioto du Gèvres > 17th place World Cup Final 2026

  • Julien Épaillard with Donatello d’Auge, Fringan de Vesquerie or Le Coultre de Muze > with Donatello d’Auge among others World Cup winner 2025, he only took over Le Coultre de Muze from Philippe Rozier in the fall, victorious up to 1.50 meters

  • Antoine Ermann with Floyd des Prés > 2025 (Senior) Championship premiere for horse and 24-year-old rider, seventh place in the individual classification at the European Championships, several top three placings at five-star level

  • Nina Mallevaey with Dynastie de Beaufour or Nikka vd Bisschop > With Nikka, the 26-year-old student of Helena Stormanns was part of the European Championship team in 2025, her first appearance at a senior championship. With Dynastie de Beaufour victorious in the Grand Prix of Brussels and here also double clear in the Nations Cup 2025, fifth place in the Grand Prix of Aachen etc..

  • Mégane Moissonnier with Crooner Tame > Mégane was part of the 2023 European Championship team in Milan, with Crooner Tame victorious and highly placed in Grand Prix up to 1.60 meters

  • Olivier Perreau with Dorai d’Aiguilly > Were part of the third-placed French team at the 2024 Olympics

  • Olivier Robert with Iglesias DV > The pair represented France twice at the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, winning and placing highly in Nations Cups and Grand Prix up to 1.60 meters.

  • Jeanne Sadran with Dexter de Kerglenn > Part of the 2025 European Championship team, 15th place in the 2024 World Cup Final

  • Nicolas Sers with Eleven de Riverland > No championship experience yet but part of the winning Nations Cup team in Abu Dhabi, among others

  • Kevin Staut with Visconti du Telman > Team Olympic champion 2016, two team silver medals at World Championships etc., two European Championships with Visconti, four World Cup finals, including third place in 2025 and fifth place in 2026


Versatility



  • Thomas Carlile with Golden de Béliard > Carlile was an Olympic reserve rider in 2021, a specialist for young horses and brought Andrew Hoy’s Vassily de Lassos into the sport. 2022/23 victorious in the World Championships for young eventing horses with the now ten-year-old Golden de Beliard, 2025 victorious in CCI4*-S

  • Luc Château with Cocorico de l’Ébat > 2025 part of the European Championship bronze team, sixth in the CCI4*-L Strzegom in April

  • Sébastien Cavaillon with Élipso de la Vigne > Also part of the “bronze” European Championship team of 2025, no international start yet in 2026

  • Alexis Goury with Colorée de Poteau Z or Je’Vall > Two European Championships, last year third place with the team and sixth in the individual classification with Je’Vall, with Colorée de Poteau Z second in the Nations Cup event in Boekelo. No start yet in 2026 with either horse

  • Karim Laghouag with Dream de Viève > Laghouag was part of three Olympic teams that won gold, silver and bronze. Dream de Viève has no championship experience yet, but was third in the CCI4*-L in Strzegom at the end of April

  • Gaspard Maksud with Zaragoza > Sixth World Championships 2022, team third and individual sixth European Championships 2023, most recently seventh CCI5*-L in Badminton

  • Benjamin Massié with Figaro Fonroy or Filao de Perle > With Figaro Fonroy ninth as an individual pair at the European Championships 2025, most recently the pair finished fifth in the individual classification at the Nations Cup in Marbach, Filao de Perle was seventh in Pau and ninth in Badminton

  • Astier Nicolas with Alertamalib’Or or Dirty Old Town > With Alertamalib’Or bronze European Championship 2025 and participation World Championship Pratoni, Dirty Old Town was eighth in Pau 2025

  • Nicolas Touzaint avec Diabolo Menthe > Toussaint has competed at six Olympic Games and was part of the silver team in Paris with Diabolo Menthe 2024. At the end of April they were second at the CCI4*-L in Strzegom


Dressage



  • Alexandre Ayache with Ruling Olivia > Pair competed at EC 2025, PB in the Grand Prix: 70.022 percent

  • Pauline Basquin with Sertorius de Rima Z > Pair took part in two European Championships, the 2022 World Championships and the 2024 Olympic Games, PB in the Grand Prix: 74.761 percent (World Cup stage Lyon 2024)

  • Rachel Bastady with Quintesse > no championship experience yet, PB in the Grand Prix: 67.913 percent

  • Bertrand Liégard with Ginger > Championship premiere at EC 2025, PB in the Grand Prix: 67.674 percent

  • Alizée Roussel with Bel Amour > no championship experience yet, PB in Grand Prix: 69.913 percent (CDI3* Lier 2024)

  • Pierre Volla with Malcom X de Massa > Volla was a member of the 2016 Olympic team and took part in two European Championships; the ten-year-old Malcolm X has not yet competed in a championship and has only competed in two CDI tournaments at Grand Prix level. Best result in the Grand Prix: 69.195 percent in Fontainebleau
