In Millstreet, Ireland, world championship titles and medals will be up for grabs for the first time from July 21 to 26. Eventing riders are pioneers in this field. Nine pairs from Germany can hope to compete in this inaugural event.

The long list for the first U25 World Championships in eventing in Millstreet includes:



  • Ann-Catrin Bierlein with Sir Scotty (Owner: Ann-Catrin Bierlein; Breeder: Elizabeth Kapp) > was a European Junior Team Champion and placed third in the individual competition; she has placed multiple times in CCI4* events with Sir Scotty

  • Calvin Böckmann with Altair de la Cense (Owners: Simone, Jason, and Liam Böckmann; Breeders: Diego & Filipa Horta E Costa) > Olympic reserve, 4th place at the 2025 European Championships in the senior division with his top horse The Phantom of The Opera—who, however, was injured and is currently in rehabilitation training—and with Altair de la Cense; two appearances at the European Junior Championships and one at the European Young Riders Championships, winning bronze, gold, and silver with the team, and top placings up to CCI4*-L

  • Nicholas Goldbeck with Chintano (Owners: Jens and Nicholas Goldbeck; Breeder: Thomas Gerken) > 2022 European Champion in rural eventing; competing at the CCI4* level since 2024; five starts, all completed

  • Carla Hanser, riding Castagnola (owner: Alexandra Hanser; breeder: Thomas May) >, won bronze at the 2023 European Championships as part of the team and achieved two top-ten finishes at the CCI4* level in 2025

  • Konstantin Harting riding Botswana (owner: Rainer Schwere; breeder: Dieter Pingel) > Finished fourth, among other results, at the CCI4* in Kronberg in June

  • Jana Lehmkuhl with Lanzelot (Owner: Melanie Lehmkuhl; Breeders: ZG Judith and Sönke Schmidt) > Among other achievements, she placed fourth at the 2025 CCI4*-S in Hamm

  • Libussa Lübbeke with Darcy F (owners: Andreas Baumann and Libussa Lübbeke; breeder: Ferdinand Baumann) and Caramia (owners: Annelie and Dr. Martin Lübbeke; breeder: Annelie Lübbeke) >, among others, European Team Champion in the Senior Division in 2025

  • Isabella von Roeder with Bob (Owner: Isabella von Roeder; Breeder: Werner Stahr) > European Championship appearances in 2023, 2024, and 2025; this year, among other achievements, she placed second at the CCI4*-S in Sopot

  • Linus Weiss riding Astrello (owner: Susanne Weiss; breeder: Jörg Sültemeier) >, among others, placed 16th in the CCIO4*-S in Marbach in 2026


There will also be a final World Championship qualifier for U25 eventing riders at the German Championships for this age group, which will take place in Luhmühlen from July 2 to 5.
