National team coach Peter Thomsen will not be able to compete in the German Eventing Championships in Luhmühlen. The Holsteiner rider was involved in an accident. This has been confirmed by the German Equestrian Federation (FN).

National team coach Peter Thomsen will not be present at the German Eventing Championships this coming weekend in Luhmühlen, the CCI4*-S competition. Thomsen was in an accident, which is why he will not be able to watch the event live on-site in the Lüneburg Heath this weekend. Peter Thomsen is currently in the hospital. Dr. Annette Wyrwoll, chair of the Eventing Committee of the German Olympic Equestrian Committee (DOKR), told NDR, “We’re riding here for Peter.” Wyrwoll will take over some of the national coach’s duties on site. In addition, Olympic team champion Andreas Dibowski will be on hand to support the riders.

The EQUI PAGES team wishes Peter Thomsen a speedy recovery!
