New members selected for the German dressage team
New additions to the Olympic squad: Dante's Pearl and Charlott-Maria Schürmann. Photo: sportfotos-lafrentz.de Following their bronze medal in the Grand Prix Special, Charlott-Maria Schürmann and her Dante Weltino daughter, Dante’s Pearl, have joined the Olympic squad. This brings the total to five riders with eight horses in this distinguished group. In addition to Schürmann and Dante’s Pearl, the squad also includes:
- Katharina Hemmer and Denoix
- Ingrid Klimke and Vayron
- Frederic Wandres with Bluetooth
- Isabell Werth is still competing with Wendy, Viva Gold OLD, and DSP Quantaz, even though Quantaz’s last competition was the World Cup Final in Basel in 2025. But he did compete at “Pferd und Sinfonie” in Aachen.
Prospective roster featuring several “newcomers”
The prospective squad, in particular, has grown. The Werndl siblings are included here with Times Kismet and Quick Decision, as are Tobias Nabben and Forster, who can now also call themselves part of the “expanded world elite.” The overview:
