The Livaldon son had made his debut with Charlott-Maria Schürmann at the Anakenenhof in Pinneberg in early September.
The rider from Hanover scored more than 73 percent in the 13-rider field. To be exact, the judges (Catrin Wingender, Heinz Holger Lammers, Katja Bentler) awarded him 73.25 percent in a virtually unanimous decision.
The stallion, bred by Johannes Hesselink, earned several “8s” on the score sheet. As expected, Life Time scored well in the fast tempos, but the judges also awarded “8s” for a canter pirouette and the eleven required flying changes from jump to jump.
The average scores for the piaffe and passage sections ranged from 6.5 to 7.0.

Four other horses surpassed the 70-percent mark: Facilione OLD, who had developed into a Grand Prix horse under Helen Langehanenberg before being taken over by Nicola Louise Ahorner, competed for the second time with the Spaniard Severo Jurado Lopez and scored 71.49 percent. Ridden by Nicola Louise Ahorner—who is originally from Austria but competes for Israel—the son of Fürstenball had slipped into the low 60 percent range in his most recent competition appearances. In Isterberg, the gelding scored 71.49 percent, taking second place.
Valentin Munkedahl, a 22-year-old Dane, scored 71.45 percent with Quatro Guldbjerg by Quaterhit. Lena Haßmann came in fourth with Charming Sezana (70.88), ahead of Sophie Reef and Gideon (70.75).
