The German junior team is doing great in the team standings at the European Championships in Hagen. The young riders and the Children’s division are also performing quite well.

Things are going well for the German teams at the European Championships for 14- to 21-year-olds. At the Junior European Championships, the juniors are on track for gold after the first round of the Nations Cup: Lennard Tillmann/Veltiner, Tony Stormans/Cinnamo, and Malte Merschformann/Blue Water were the top three German pairs. And all of them completed the course without any knockdowns. This meant that Brianne Beerbaum/Kiss Me and Bastille/Jolie Marie Kühner were able to enter the course feeling confident that the team’s result was excellent.

Behind Team Germany are the Netherlands, followed by the team from Finland.

Young Riders – three clear rounds, currently in fifth place

Among the young riders, the Germans are in fifth place. That sounds like a bigger gap than it actually is, though. In the first round of the Nations Cup, the Germans posted three clear rounds. Romy Rosalie Tietje and Cascadino got things started, and Emma Bachl and Condolcessa, as well as Max Paschertz and Foodfox’ Cathilde H, followed suit. Only Tjde Carstensen and Lintero had to deal with two knockdowns.

With a total of 10.76 points from the first round, they are currently in fifth place after the first round. The nations ahead of them—Belgium (fourth place), Great Britain (third place), Ireland (second place), and the leading Netherlands—each had at least two clear rounds but were faster in the first round.

Children in Fourth Place After First Round of the Nations Cup

In the Children’s division, Germany is in fourth place after the first round. Mila Osing and Capitaine, as well as Justus Thomsen and Clooney, completed clear rounds. Joelle Sprehe and Starlinda, as well as Luisa Charlotte Brocks and Cordijana, each had one knockdown. The team from Great Britain leads here, ahead of the Netherlands and the Swiss delegation.
