Four newcomers for Holstein at spring licensing
New for Holstein dressage horse breeding: Val d'Isére by Va Bene. Photo: Holsteiner Verband/Janne Bugtrup For catalog number seven, Checco Z by Chacco-Blue-Heartbreaker-Polydor, the journey from the Netherlands, the country of his birth, was worthwhile. The Zangersheide stallion has a dam who has already produced several international show jumpers, some of them successful up to 1.60 meters. The breeder is Joop Buikema. Reinie Tewis was listed as exhibitor.

Numbers two to four were also licensed. Number two was the gray stallion Zuccavisto by Zuccero-Conthargos-Leovisto-Acord II, born at Hof Thormählen and still at home there.

The smartly presented dark chestnut Chrispin by Christian-Dinken-Cardento-Quo Vados I still looks youthful. Witt Pferdezucht GbR is the breeder here and also exhibited the youngster, who represents the 776 line, which produced Cardentos and champion stallion Vigado, for example.

The hearts of dressage fans must have beat faster at the sight of Val d’Isére by Va Bene-Ampere-Aljano-Capitol, who is not too tall at 1.64 meters, but makes up for this with large, elastic movements. Thomas Horns bred the three-year-old, Janina Oppl from Bavaria exhibited him.
