Ancestry
Foundation is by Fidertanz out of Donna Doria by De Vito-Andiamo and was born very close to his new home, at Gerd Pigge in Lastrup. The dam also produced other successful horses, such as Anabel Balkenhol’s Grand Prix-winning Crystal Friendship and the premium stallion Flavio from the Glock stables in the Netherlands. A full sister to Foundation is the dam of Ann-Christin Wienkamp’s fourth-placed dressage horse at the World Championships, Voundation. These and countless other horses are out of the Hanoverian mare line of Paninka.
Personal contribution and inheritance
Foundation himself was a finalist in the Burg Cup and Louisdor Prize with Matthias Alexander Rath and later competed at international Grand Prix level. As a four-year-old, he was named Oldenburg main premium winner and is now an elite stallion of the Oldenburg Horse Breeding Association and was honored with the Grande Prize by the Hanoverian Association in 2020.
He has earned these awards with his offspring, which includes the World Cup finalist Florine OLD by Bianca Nowag-Aulenbrock, the Danish European Championship horse Favour Gersdorf by Nadja Aaboe Sloth, Louisdor Prize finalist Freischütz from the Werth stable, the World Championship silver medal winner Ferrari, who has since been successful up to advanced (S***) level with Rudolf Widmann, and many others.
Ferrari is one of Foundation’s 40 licensed sons. In addition, there are 85 daughters with premium titles.
