Photo: Ridehesten At the dressage stallion licensing in Herning, 18 stallions were given the green light to go on to stud. Five stallions left the arena in Herning with a premium. Two of them were sired by Escanto PS, Epic Zone (M. by Secret) and Enziano (M. by Veneziano). In addition, Bilbao by Be Sure- Zackerey, the Swede Fireball by Fifty-Fifty- Don Schufro and Venture by Vivaldos-Revolution received the coveted predicate.
Vivaldi – what else?
In addition to the premium stallion by Vivaldos, four Dynamic Dream sons from the Vivaldi line were licensed. In addition, one son of Vitalis received the O.K. In terms of numbers, this line was thus the most strongly represented.
This was followed by that of Ferro, above all via the team world champion Zack, who became a stamp stallion in Denmark. Stallions by Secret-Ampere, So Perfect-Franklin and by Franklin-For Emotion were licensed. These were joined by a son of Jovian (going back to Jazz) out of a Sezuan dam.
Werth’s Wendy with licensed son
Finally, Isabell Werth’s 90 percent mare Wendy can look forward to another licensed son, Brando de Fontaine by Be Sure. The third licensed Be Sure son at the licensing in Herning was out of a Franklin dam. A Glamourdale-Don Juan de Hus son and a stallion by Fynch Hatton-Tailormade Temptation were also licensed.
13 jumping stallions and a quartet of premium stallions in Herning
Four of the total of 13 licensed stallions from the sprin camp were judged to be particularly good by the commission in Herning. These premium stallions came from the great lines of Almé(here is the life story of the Selle Français stallion) – the OS stallion Bam Bam by Balou du Rouet-Chacco-Blue and the Belgian Waloubet de Coupains by Baloubet du Rouet-Darco. Baloubet du Rouet-Darco – as well as Cor de la Bryère(here is the portrait of the stamp stallion) Cash Back by Cador-Casino Grande, an OS stallion bred by – as the pedigree suggests – Gerd Sosath and Cashmir Ask by Cassado Ask-Cornettino Ask.
Other licensed show jumping stallions were descended from Daniel Deusser’s Bingo Ste Hermelle, Bonaparte Z (both Almé), Cassado Ask, Eldorado van de Zeshoek and Carojino (Cor de la Bryère), Dourkan Hero as a representative of the Diamant de Semilly line, Jewel Ask (Capitol) and the four-year-old Talisman by Tobago Z (Narcos II). The Quick Star son Quattro was licensed subject to a stallion performance test.
