Hellwig and Nieberg singled out the four-year-old Ontaria von Steinberg, a representative of the Brandenburg-Anhalt Horse Breeding Association and descended from Oganero P, as the winner. At the age of eight, the Darco grandson is now internationally successful and is regarded as a sporting and breeding hope for the Beerbaum station. Convoi is in his dam’s pedigree. The bay was bred by Christian Lehmann and Burckhard Lehmann from Groß Pankow is listed as the exhibitor. The scores for Ontaria: 8.8 for manner, 9.2 for ability and 18 points. Or an outright “very good”, 9.0.
A wealthy mare also shone in second place (9.2), the five-year-old Cascada by Cellman-Coolman bred by Laura Stein. She received an 8.6 for her manner. This resulted in a total of 17.8 points. The top three were completed by a four-year-old representative of the Saxon Stud Administration, the gelding Contoro by Cornet’s Edition-Wontorra. 8.5 and 9.1 were the scores for manner and ability. The bottom line was 17.6 points.
